To mark the centenary of the opening of Cristobel Balenciaga’s first fashion house, The Victoria and Albert Museum will be hosting an exhibition in honour of the designer’s work.

Entitled Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion, the exhibition will showcase a broad selection of his creations including over 100 dresses, many of which have never been seen in public and are considered masterworks in haute couture. In addition, his innovative technical approach and exquisite craftsmanship will be explored alongside his enduring influence on contemporary fashion.
